Based on the award-winning Tapestry of Grace ​classical homeschool curriculum, Lucerna Academy provides a classical Christian education using an integrated unit study approach, with the history of the world as the core organizational theme. Rather than studying subjects independently, students study the literature, geography, fine art, philosophy, and worldview of a people as they also study the history of that people, making rich connections and achieving a deeper understanding.

Because we believe in the power of the Socratic method to give hungry minds the opportunity for real, substantive discussions, we limit our discussion classes to an average of ten students. Students learn from whole, living books--written by authors who are passionate about their subjects--then gather to discuss what they are learning.
