Upper Grammar Courses

The minimum age for upper grammar courses is 9. Recommended for 4th - 6th graders who are independent readers.

Integrated Courses

Based on the award-winning Tapestry of Grace classical homeschool curriculum, Lucerna Academy provides a classical Christian education using an integrated unit study approach, with the history of the world as the core organizational theme. Rather than studying subjects independently, students study the literature, geography, fine art, philosophy, and worldview of a people as they also study the history of that people, making rich connections and achieving a deeper understanding.

Save Money on
Living Books

We help you manage the expense of getting the wonderful living books that our discussion courses use by providing you with a recommended book lists that identifies the ISBN number and which weeks the books are used, so you will know which books you should purchase and which books you might be able to borrow from your library system. These book lists are sent to enrolled students a few months before classes begin, giving you plenty of time to plan.
