2025-2026 Important Dates

Regular Enrollment* Ends for Spring Courses:     December 19, 2025

* A late registration fee of $50/course will be applied for students enrolling in spring courses after December 19, 2025. Course withdrawals after December 19, 2025, will not receive a refund. Late registrants (those who register after December 19, 2025) are not eligible for tuition refunds. 

Fall Semester Ends:    Friday, January 16, 2026

All 2025-2026 Enrollment Closed:    Friday, January 16, 2026 (as we get ready to open enrollment in February for the 26-27 school year)

Spring Semester Begins:    Monday, January 19, 2026

Registration Opens for Current Families* for the 2026-2027 School Year:    Wednesday, February 18, 2026

*(This early registration is only open to families currently taking classes during the 25-26 school year)

Registration Opens for All Families for the 2026-2027 School Year:    Wednesday, February 25, 2026

Easter Break:    March 30-April 3, 2026

School Year Ends:    Friday, May 22, 2026

Final Grades Posted:    Monday, June 8, 2026

Enrollment Opens for Current Lucerna Families:      Wednesday, February 18, 2026​
General Enrollment Opens:     Wednesday, February 25, 2026
Regular Enrollment* Ends for Fall & Full-Year Courses:     August 1, 2026

Course Schedules Set:    First week of August

We notify students and their parents if there is enough enrollment to host their class, and teachers send welcome letters for all courses that we will host.

New Student Online Learning Session:    Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 3-4 pm ET

A quick drop-in session so students new to Lucerna Academy can learn to use our online classroom and learning management software and be sure their equipment works well with our online classrooms.

Orientation Week:    August 24-28, 2026

Orientation for each class will be held on the weekday and time of the regular class.

New Parent Orientation:    Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 3-4 pm ET

Orientation for parents who are new to Lucerna Academy to learn how to monitor grades, communicate with teachers, etc.

Fall and Full-year Classes Begin:    Monday, September 7, 2026

Since that Monday is a holiday, Monday classes that week will not meet. However, there will be assignments due that week. Students will get all the details at their orientation.

Thanksgiving Break:    November 23-27

Christmas Break:    December 21, 2026-January 1, 2027
