2024-2025 Important Dates

Regular Enrollment* Ends for Spring Courses:     December 19, 2024

* A late registration fee of $25/course will be applied for students enrolling in spring courses after December 19, 2024. Course withdrawals after December 19, 2024, will not receive a refund. Late registrants (those who register after December 19, 2024) are not eligible for tuition refunds. 

Fall Semester Ends:    Friday, January 17, 2025

All 2024-2025 Enrollment Closed:    Friday, January 17, 2025 (as we get ready to open enrollment in February for the 25-26 school year)

Spring Semester Begins:    Monday, January 20, 2025

Registration Opens for Current Families* for the 2025-2026 School Year:    Wednesday, February 19, 2025

*(This early registration is only open to families currently taking classes during the 24-25 school year)

Registration Opens for All Families for the 2025-2026 School Year:    Wednesday, February 26, 2025 

Easter Break:    April 14-18, 2025

School Year Ends:    Friday, May 23, 2025

Final Grades Posted:    Monday, June 9, 2025

Enrollment Opens for Current Lucerna Families:     Wednesday, February 19, 2025
General Enrollment Opens:     Wednesday, February 26, 2025
Regular Enrollment* Ends for Fall & Full-Year Courses:     August 1, 2025

Course Schedules Set:    First week of August

We notify students and their parents if there is enough enrollment to host their class, and teachers send welcome letters for all courses that we will host.

New Student Online Learning Session:    Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 3-4 pm ET

A quick drop-in session so students new to Lucerna Academy can learn to use our online classroom and learning management software and be sure their equipment works well with our online classrooms.

Orientation Week:    August 18-22, 2025

Orientation for each class will be held on the weekday and time of the regular class.

New Parent Orientation:    Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 4-5 pm ET

Orientation for parents who are new to Lucerna Academy to learn how to monitor grades, communicate with teachers, etc.

Fall and Full-year Classes Begin:    Monday, September 1, 2025

Since that Monday is a holiday, Monday classes that week will not meet. However, there will be assignments due that week. Students will get all the details at their orientation.

Thanksgiving Break:    November 24-28, 2025

Christmas Break:    December 22, 2025-January 2, 2026
