Upper Grammar Literature Modules

These 8-week literature workshop modules are offered during the fall, winter, and spring. Literature students complete their work before class, then meet once per week in our live online classrooms at the scheduled times to discuss their work.

These modules are based on the award-winning Tapestry of Grace homeschool curriculum, but you do not need to be studying Tapestry of Grace at home to join one of our mods.

NOTE: teachers do not provide grades for module courses.

2023-2024 School Year

Upper Grammar Literature: The Ancients (Tapestry of Grace Year 1)
Students in this 8-week workshop will meet for 1 hour each week to read together, discuss their books, review their assignments, and play games to reinforce their understanding of literary terms. To assess their learning, they'll take a quiz at the end of the 8-week workshop. Based on the  Tapestry of Grace upper grammar literature assignments, your student will read living books each week, sharing their insights with their teacher and classmates. The goal of this class is to gain an age-appropriate understanding of literary analysis terms that will prepare them for dialectic literature and to have fun while they are doing it. But, don't worry! You'll still be able to have that treasured "mom reading time" if you want it!
